With its beautiful surrounding forest, family hikes, leisurely walks, or cycling - the Bärensee is a perfect destination for any outdoor activity. After the hike, you can stop off at the Bärenschlössle directly on the lake and end the day relaxed. The hike begins at the Schattengrund bus stop. The circular route around the Bärensee is partially barrier-free and is assigned to difficulty levels 1-2. For people with limited mobility, we recommend parking in the Damgarten car park north of the Bärenschlössle (at the Stuttgart Solitude/Wildparkstraße exit). From there, you can reach the Bärenschlössle on the asphalted, traffic-free Bärensträßle. The slope here is about 1-4%. There is a barrier-free toilet in the self-service restaurant in the Bärenschlössle. It is also possible to take the paved Schlösslesallee to the Pfaffensee and Neuen See. Here the gradient is 1-3%. The shore hiking trails consist mostly of gravel.
