Wooded hiking trail in the heart of the Palatinate Forest, Rhineland-Palatinate. This wonderful circular route starts at the "Alte Schanze" car park and leads along forest and woodland paths through wooded low mountain ranges to the Waldhaus Lambertskreuz restaurant. Descend through a crevice in the rock, then take the stairs and you're already in the Durchblickkammer - a rock breakthrough under the Südfelsen. Ingenious downhill to the Saupferch. Continue to Jagdstein, an uphill trail for the tough, push if necessary, then to Saupferch - refreshments recommended.

Atmospheric, official hike organised by the Pfälzerwaldverein e.V. through the Palatinate Forest near Lambrecht, Rhineland-Palatinate.
