Popular circular trail at Kochelsee, Bavaria. This short circular trail, suitable for walking and running, is located on the north-west shore of Lake Kochelsee. The start and finish is Schlehdorf, where there are a number of listed farmhouses as well as very nice places to stop for refreshments. The route runs through open countryside and offers some marvellous views. From Eschenlohe around the Herzogsstand. This variant leads along the rocky path. The highest point of the tour is 935 metres above sea level, making it a good spring or late autumn tour. On the ascent just before the Kesselbergsattel near Urfeld, there is a short stretcher section. The section directly on the B11 is of course very busy in good weather! Also be sure to ride the loop around the Walchensee peninsula - the colour of the lake here is gigantic!
