The route starts at Thuisbrunn, between the brewery and the volunteer fire brigade. The path leads out of the village towards the woods; later, you pass the Sinterassen and also follow the idyllic Wasserwiesenbach stream. This takes the walker close to the old ore-mining area. At Egloffstein, the route takes a short detour via the Paradiesweg back to the starting point.
