Panoramic circular trail in the beautiful Jakobsthal in the Spessart. The circular trail, marked with a black fox, runs from the old railway station along the main Spessart ridge and up the Eselshöhe through the Sailaufer Forst forest to the Knöpphütte (note rest days). The trail leads back down the valley along the Lohrbach stream and past the natural swimming pool. 3rd stage of the Eselsweg in the Spessart Nature Park, Bavaria. Leaving the Flörsbach valley right at the start, the route leads uphill.
