Best trails near Badestelle Balm

Enjoyable bike tour from Eglisau in the canton of Zurich via Altenburg in Germany to Schaffhausen in the canton of the same name. It leads through a dreamlike and varied natural landscape always directly along the Rhine. The highlight are certainly the spectacular Rhine Falls, a 150 m wide waterfall. This segment starts in Rheinau and then continues to Eglisau directly on the banks of the Rhine. The trail from Rheinau leads south of the settlement over the high banks of the Rhine past alluvial forests. It then runs along the Thur and through the cultural landscape of the Flaacherfeld to Flaach. Then continue past Buchberg church until you reach Eglisau. This beautiful route is located in the Schaffhausen Nature Park

The trail starts in Buchberg and then you are also in the Schaffhausen Regional Nature Park. The trail continues along the banks of the Rhine river and then over the Untere Insle. The trail then continues along the riverbank until you reach Jestetten railway station. This path can be a little muddy after a few days of bad weather.
