Best dogs on lead trails in Müritz National Park

Welcome to the land of a thousand lakes. The Müritz National Park is located in the centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District and Feldberg Lake District, where forests, lakes and moors form a breathtaking backdrop. Of this, 72 per cent of the park is covered by forests and 13 per cent by lakes. The Weichselian Ice Age was particularly formative for this region. You can still find erratic blocks, tongue basins and gullies as well as dead ice holes everywhere, and the Müritz National Park has been Germany's largest terrestrial national park since 1990.
