Best hard trails in Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park
The Wadden Sea National Park was declared a biosphere reserve by UNSECO in 1992, but has been protected as a national park since 1986. The Wadden Sea provides a unique habitat for numerous species and consists of the Wadden Sea in Lower Saxony, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.
The national park covers around 345,800 hectares and includes the habitats of mudflats, sandbanks, salt marshes, beaches, dunes and estuaries.
