The tour skirts the idyllic Rietzer See nature reserve to the south and starts in Netzen at a free car park. There are a few benches along the way and various swimming opportunities. If you are travelling by bike, there is only one slightly difficult section. At the lake "Langes Fenn", next to the A2 motorway, you have to cross a 1 m wide water channel. Behind Nahmitz, from the path next to the A2 motorway, there is a meadow path that leads you to a nice bathing spot at "Netzener See". In Emstal there is a baking oven museum...
