The route leads from the Hegermühle S-Bahn station around the nearby Herrensee lake and through the beautiful forest to Hennickendorf, from there across the meadows of the nature reserve to the Strausberg Vorstadt S-Bahn station. There are refreshment stops at the start and end points.
