Idyllic hike to the Isar floodplains. The hiking trail starts at the Volkmannsdorferau bridge, at the bridge saint "Wanger Christopherus". It runs along the south side of the Isar until it joins the Old Works Canal. From here, either the same route back to the starting point can be taken or the first gravel road to the left can be followed, which leads back to Volkmannsdorferau. Beautiful circular hike in Bavaria. A wonderful hike along the Moosburg reservoir, through the Middle Isar Reservoirs bird sanctuary and between the Isar and the Mitllere-Isar Canal. You walk through the unique Isar landscape to the Echinger reservoir and then return to the starting point.
