Forstenrieder Park is a large wooded area located south-west of Munich. It covers an area of 37 square kilometres. Together with Forst Kasten and Fürstenrieder Wald, it forms a landscape conservation area that was once used as a hunting ground by the nobility and the Wittelsbach sovereigns.
