This cycle path starts in Bad Sulza. It follows the Emsenbach as closely as possible, using the Emsenbach cycle path on the outward journey and then returning by a different route. Several villages are crossed along the way, including Auerstedt, Reisdorf, Neustedt, Schwabsdorf, Thüsdorf, Tromsdorf (where the Emsenbach ends and the path turns round) and Seena.
