Best hard trails in Malente

The RTF organised by the Malente cycling team starts in Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen and runs for a varied 160 km through the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park and along the coast of the Bay of Kiel. The route utilises the undulating terminal moraine landscape around the Plöner and Selenter lakes and challenges the riders with significantly more metres in altitude than they would expect in the north. Challenging RTF in Schleswig-Holstein. This is the official route (from 2017) of the RTFs from Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen. It goes via Lehmkuhlen, Selent and Hohenfelde to the coast and then on via Hohwacht and Kükelühn to Benz and back to the starting point.
