Best partially-paved trails in Zwenkau

Beautiful circular route in Zwenkau, Saxony. The route leads around the new Zwenkauer See lake and surprises with variety. The paths are very different. Sometimes there is coarse gravel and then fine gravel and sometimes paved layers of earth. On the whole, the trail is very easy to walk or cycle. The landscape is very impressive and the peaceful idyll invites to relax. Highlights of the hike: - Wonderful views - Local flora and fauna - Varied natural landscapes

This route starts at the Zwenkau municipal library. It leads southwards through the Imnitzer Lachen nature reserve. It then begins to follow the Weiße Elster. It then goes through Pegau and then through the Groitzsch parish wood nature reserve. It continues southwards to its destination of Prößdorf and the Prößdorfer See lake.
