Best moderate trails in Muldenhammer

This trail begins in the Neidhardtstal valley near the Zwickauer Mulde and the large dam. It leads into the nearby forest area and makes a loop around the Gerstenbergweg, which is around 640 metres high. Next to the area is the Eibenstock dam, which offers beautiful views of the water. The hike lies within the boundaries of the Erzgebirge/Vogtland Nature Park.

This is a long loop through the forests of the Erzgebirge/Vogtland Nature Park. It can be started at any point along the trail. It leads through the villages of Sachsengrund, Tannenbergsthal and Morgenröthe. There are forests and hills between the villages. Some of the hills in the area are the Schuppenberg, the Saurücken and the Kohlanger.
