Panoramic and varied circular trail in Zahna-Elster, Saxony-Anhalt. This idyllic route starts in Abtsdorf and leads via Lutherstadt to Bergwitzsee. Left Elbe section of the Elbe Cycle Route between Elster and Belgern This section of the Elbe Cycle Route begins in Elster and leads to the Roland town of Belgern. Along the way are small, cosy towns that can look back on glorious times. Castles and former monasteries are still reminders of once glorious times. This route runs along the left bank of the river Elbe. It is also possible to travel on the eastern side (right bank).
