Best wildflower trails in Ramsen

Beautiful circular route in the Palatinate Forest near Ramsen, Rhineland-Palatinate. The route through the Palatinate Forest provides an opportunity to explore the regional diversity of flora and fauna. The route is easily accessible by bus and train and starts at the Eiswoog Stumpfwaldbahn railway station. Along the way, you will discover burial mounds from the Celtic period on the left-hand side of the path. The trail also leads into the municipality of Eisenberg to the village of Ramsen, where the historic Stumpfwald railway starts in the direction of Eiswoog. The Stumpfwaldbahn is a 600 mm gauge museum railway that has been in operation in the Stumpfwald since 1996.
