Starting near the parking area at the Rodder Maar, this circular trail explores the volcanic landscapes of the Brohltal region. Broad paths lead past the scenic maar, a shallow volcanic basin used in centuries past as a fish pond for nearby Olbrück Castle. The path continues towards the small Königssee and ascends through quiet forest sections toward the Weiselstein observation tower.
