Best forest trails in Mehlingen

The Hochfelsweg trail is part of the "Enigmatic Time Signs" themed wall trail. This provides interesting and mysterious insights into the region's past along the entire route. The route leads to several stone settlements that are thought to date back to the Bronze/Stone Age. Particular highlights are the stone remains of the Heisenberg, various menhirs and the mysterious high rock that gives the route its name. The view from the Donnersberg is also particularly impressive.
