Best historic site trails in Kempenich

This route takes you through the beautiful Eifel landscape across forests and fields. The hike can be perfectly combined with a tour on the nostalgic narrow-gauge railway "Vulkan-Express". Although it is also possible to board the train at other points, we recommend boarding at Engeren railway station. From here, the route leads through the village of the same name along the edge of the forest over the Engelner Kopf towards Kempenich. Olbrück Castle is a cultural and historical highlight.
