Best long trails in Kandel

Official route of the Bienwald half marathon, Rhineland-Palatinate. The route is characterised by flat, fast, fully asphalted paths, some of which are only suitable for bikes/mountain bikes, as it crosses federal and district roads that are closed for the Bienwald Marathon. The scenery is very beautiful, crossing fields and through the Bienwald nature reserve, one of the few places where European wildcats still live in the wild.
