Best forest trails in Frei-Laubersheim

The Eichelberg is a certified premium hiking trail. This route can be found in the land of 1000 hills, as Rheinhessen is often called. The "Hiwweltour Eichelberg" combines a disused railway line with extensive meadow and vineyard landscapes as well as Mediterranean-style gnarled oak and pine forests. Shortly before the end of the tour, it provides an insight into a spectacular quarry, at the bottom of which a lake has formed, reflecting Neu-Bamberg and its castle.

Beautiful Loop in the Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park. At the starting point there is a playground for families with children and a place to stop for refreshments. After the round you can relax and stop here. It goes through forests and a little bit over open fields between Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg and Frei-Laubersheim.
