Best backpacking trails in Bassenheim

This route follows stage 5 of the Rheinburgenweg, a long-distance trail starting in Bassenheim and ending in Winningen. The path leads from the Volcanic Eifel to the Mosel, passing the volcanic Karmelenberg, the Marienkapelle, and a historic oak tree in Wolken before a steep climb through the Mosel valley slopes into Winningen.
