The Elfengrotte, also known as the cheese grotto, consists of many stones stacked on top of each other that look like cheese wheels. 50,000 years ago, hot, glowing rock from the surrounding volcanoes was pushed into the Elbesbach valley here. This unique cave was formed in the process. Behind the Elves' Grotto, a waterfall cascades down to a romantic pool. The cave can also be reached with a pushchair.
