Best historic site trails in Aremberg

This route follows Stage 3 of the AhrSteig, a long-distance hiking trail in Germany, and connects Aremberg with Insul. From the castle ruins on the Aremberg—the highest point of the entire trail—the route leads along steep forest paths through Eichenbach and past sandstone formations to Schuld. Walkers pass the Schorn Chapel and the open-air theatre before the ascent to Spicher Ley is rewarded with views of the Ahr Valley, finally ending at the Prümer Tor natural monument in Insul....
