This route follows stage 9 of the Bergischer Weg and connects Overath with Much. Leaving Overath, the trail ascends secluded paths and forest tracks toward the scenic Leyenhaus before descending into the protected Naafbach Valley. Hikers follow the stream through quiet countryside near Hohnsberg, continuing alongside the Gibbinghauser Bach into Much.
