Best trail running trails in Marsberg

This is a relatively easy route in the Diemelsee Nature Park. It starts near the landing stage and leads along the Am Fresenberg road to the Waldroute hiking trail, which leads up to Buttenberg. It then descends to Helminghausen and back to the starting point. Of course, there are also beautiful views of the lake here.

From Marsberg, you will find a near-natural circular tour through the Forst Bredelar/Obermarsberger Wald nature reserve, which is part of the Bredelar, Stadtwald Marsberg and Fürstenberger Wald fauna and flora habitat area. Here you can still find old beech forests, a large number of small and large near-natural streams and birds such as the boreal owl, the red kite and the black stork.
