Best bike touring trails in Lünen

Stage 5 of the Römer-Lippe-Route. The penultimate section of the Roman-Lippe Route leads from Lünen through the Hohe Mark - Westmünsterland Nature Park to idyllic Haltern am See. Along the way, there are loops to historic Selm or Datteln to the south. This route leads through the region north of Dortmund, Bochum and Essen. Part of the route runs along the Wesel-Datteln Canal. It also runs along the edge of the Die Haard forest. A large part of the route passes through towns and villages and the fields and farms in between. Part of the route leads through the Hohe Mark Nature Park.
