The route lies between Havixbeck and Münster and crosses a landscape of open meadows and historic estates. The ground conditions include flat, tarmac surfaces and occasional paved earth surfaces through woodland. Hilly terrain is minimal and characterised by the gentle topography of the Baumberge foothills. Native hedgerows and farmland line the route between the cultural sites.
