Best wildflower trails in Datteln

Beautiful circular route from the Katenkreuz (Jammertal) hiking car park. The route leads over 3 mountains, Kusberg, Stirnberg and Farnberg. There is a fire watch tower on the Farnberg which can be climbed. The route mainly leads along side paths and trails. The route also passes the "Alte Buche" beech tree.

Very nice route in wind and weather and especially with the dog.

This route starts near the Ahsener Heide holiday camp, which is located close to the fish pond bridge that crosses the Wesel-Datteln Canal. The path leads south into the forest, which is part of the Die Haard forest. On the outward journey, it takes the In den Wellen path, on the return journey the Ahsener Alle. This is a relatively flat hike.
