Best moderate trails in Rehna

Varied long-distance hiking trail in the Schaalsee biosphere reserve. Three monasteries in Rehna, Zarrentin and Ratzeburg are at the centre of this route. It follows the signposting for the "Nonnenweg", "Bischofsweg" and the "Mönch-Ernestus-Weg". There is a mosaic of forests, lakes, fields and pastures, interspersed with villages with interesting histories. The start is at the Total petrol station on Gletzower Straße. Parking is available in the "Am Kajatz" industrial estate not far from the petrol station.
