The Gnitz peninsula is home to several white-tailed eagles and rare sand martins. Particularly worth mentioning is the White Mountain, from where you have a fantastic view of the Peene River.

From the start, the route leads through the Gnitz nature reserve to the Weißer Berg viewpoint. From there you have a wonderful view of the cliffs and the Achterwasser. Through the forest to the megalithic passage grave at Lütow and from there to the brick church at Netzelkow. Return along the dyke with a view of the Achterwasser.

A beautiful tour across the vast landscapes of the Gnitz peninsula. With a bit of luck, you may spot grey herons, sand martins and ospreys on the eastern shore of Görmitz Island. The route offers views of the Pomeranian Bay and the Achterwasser and leads through several wooded areas, which makes the route very varied.
