Best easy trails in Baabe

This hike leads around Lake Sellin, an inland lake on the Mönchgut peninsula in the south-east of the island of Rügen. The route starts exactly at the car park at Baabe railway station. From there, the trail first leads through the town and then along natural paths along the reed belt and through the neighbouring beech forests of the Granitz. Mute swans, grey herons and cormorants can be observed in the shallow shore areas, while sea eagles often circle above the lake hunting for fish.
