An interactive nature trail organised by the NABU Foundation Oldenburg Natural Heritage. This beautiful circular trail offers various information boards and benches. Popular circular route near Oldenburg, Lower Saxony. This is one of the three selected tours in the charming landscape of Oldenburg. The starting point is the historic town centre of Wardenburg. A brochure on the hiking trails is available from the tourist information centre ("Wardenburger Rad- und Wanderkarte"). Highlights of the hike: - Tilly Hill with memorial stone - Wedding forest - the Iburg - Landscape conservation area on the River Hunte.

Beautiful nature excursion in Lower Saxony. It goes to the Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park. Start on the banks of the Hunte. You walk northwards towards Iburg, always along the river. Later, the route heads westwards to Hochzeitswald forest. The path through the flatland is very pleasant and the Tillyhöhe or Tillyhügel is quickly reached. A nature trail has been created on the hill.
