From the car park, follow the tarmac road together with the Bersenbrücker Landweg (marked red and white), DiVa Walk (marked blue and orange) and Mühlenweg (white "M") to Neu Barenaue Castle. At the castle, turn left (signpost) - together with DiVa Walk and Bersenbrücker Landweg. In the forest, in a bend to the right, a narrow path turns left towards the Mittelland Canal. Follow this to the canal, then turn left. Before the next canal bridge, leave the canal to the left, follow the road...
