Best long trails in Spessart

2nd stage of the long-distance hiking trail "Eselsweg" in Hesse. Starting from Mernes, the route climbs a few metres in altitude, partly through dense forest on narrow paths. Although the proportion of gravel is high, fairy-tale forest paths are the exception. At Lettgenbrunn, the Donkey Trail leads from the ridge back down into the valley, offering fantastic views of meadows and fields. The place is also perfect for a break.
