Circular route with start and finish at Gelnhausen railway station. The path to the log cabin is quite steep and slippery when the stones are wet. You can cruise past the Heinrichshöhe to Haitz. The rest of the tour is characterised by beautiful but unspectacular forest paths. Worth mentioning are the oak and chestnut boles that have been uncovered, which were and still are used for hunting. The turning point is the beautiful Gettenbach valley with its castle and open-air works of art.
