Best moderate trails in Lahntal

The Auenland hiking trail AW5 leads along beautiful paths in a loop from the Auenland campsite over the Rimberg and back to the start. The Rimberg is the highest mountain in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. There are numerous benches and rest stops along the entire tour. From the observation tower on the Rimberg you have a marvellous 360-degree view over the wonderful Lahn-Dill mountain region. The pure walking time - without breaks - is approx. 2:45 hours.
