Best river trails in Schwielochsee

Beautiful, but also challenging cycle tour in Brandenburg. The starting point is near Goyatz on Lake Schwielochsee. From there, the route first leads southwards to Schmogrow, then westwards to Lübbenau, further northwards through Lübben up to Lake Neuendorf and finally through many smaller villages back to the starting point. This extensive hike leads all the way round Lake Schwielochsee, the largest natural lake in the state of Brandenburg. The start of the circular tour is at the car park at Goyatz lido. The route runs mostly close to the shore along flat forest and meadow paths and through small villages such as Jessern and Goyatz. A particular highlight is the view over the wide expanse of water of the lake, which is fed by the River Spree and is a paradise for sailors and water sports enthusiasts.
