Best lake trails in Letschin

Stage 6 of the Oder-Neisse Cycle Route in Brandenburg. Starting from Groß Neuendorf near Letschin, the cycle route leads northwards past the Odervorland Gieshof nature reserve and the Oder meadows, often with a direct view of the border river Oder, via Stolzenhagen to Schwedt (Oder). There is a crossing to Poland. There are numerous places to stop for refreshments along the way.

The route invites you to experience the typical landscape of the Oderbruch: Wide fields interspersed with small forests, the occasional small lake at the edge of the route and old farmsteads along the way. From Kienitz, the route first heads south to Rehfeld and then back on the other side. There are refreshment stops in Kienitz.

Leisurely hiking trail to the Oder This hiking trail begins in Rehfeld, but can also be started in Sophiental or Sydowswiese. It ultimately leads to the Oder, where you can take a short walk along the embankment with a view over the Oder meadows. Not far from the route is the Alte Oder bathing area, which invites you to take a detour and cool off on summer days.
