Best wildflower trails in Wald

Popular circular hiking trail in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria. The start and finish of this circular hike is in the tranquil village of Wald. The trail leads across fields and meadows into the forest. You hike through this for around 5 kilometres, passing the Großer Pfaffenstein, a striking rocky peak. This route starts in Roßbach and explores the fields and forests north of the town. There are several small lakes and ponds in the region, which are quite pleasant to walk past. The trail also passes through some very small villages such as Weitenfürst and Nahenfürst. The entire trail also lies within the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park.
