Best hard trails in Walchensee

Varied mountain tour in the Karwendel in Tyrol, Austria. The hike starts at the Leckabachweg car park and leads via a path from the Rißtal valley to the Tölzer Hütte and from there via a gravel path, short rock steps and ramps to the Schafreuter. Short climbs are necessary from time to time and you should be sure-footed and have a head for heights. The Tölzer Hütte is open from June to mid-October and also offers overnight accommodation.

Challenging hike in the Karwendel mountains in Tyrol, Austria. This mountain hike is considered moderately difficult and takes around 3 hours for the ascent and 2.5 hours for the descent. You start at the bus stop near the Weitgriesalm, where you can also stop for a bite to eat. In wet weather, the paths become very slippery, so caution is advised.
