Best mountain biking trails in Oberelsbach

Challenging mountain bike tour in the Bavarian Rhön Nature Park, Bavaria. This route starts in Weisbach and loops around Bischofsheim an der Rhön for almost 50 kilometres. Mountain peaks, great views and river valleys are a constant companion. The first two kilometres are in the direction of Ginofls, from here it's 4km and 300m up a technically demanding ascent to Basaltsee. This is followed by the first descent to the Schweinfurter Haus. Pass the Thüringer Hütte in the direction of Eisgaben and from here past the Rhönhof to the Schwarzen Moor. Here the route is relatively flat towards the Thüringer Rhönhaus.
