This route starts in Arnschwang and explores the surrounding forests and fields. It also crosses the River Chamb and passes through several villages such as Tretting and Kalkofen. At the heart of the forest is the Trettinger Birkenberg. The trail is located in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park.

Popular circular hike in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, Bavaria. From the village square in Arnschwang, the trail first leads along Kirchgasse into Zenchinger Straße, past the OGV herb garden. Before the Chambbrücke bridge in Zenchinger Straße, the path branches off to the right into Kreuthweg in the direction of the sewage treatment plant.
