Best long trails in Leimen

Picturesque, cultural-historical circular hike in the Neckartal-Odenwald Nature Park, Baden-Württemberg. The marked circular walk (white 5 in an open circle at the top, white L above it) offers wonderful views and idyllic nature over a distance of around 9 kilometres. The route follows unspoilt paths through the woods near Leimen and along the game reserve. MTB tour from St. Ilgen through the old town of Heidelberg on the Heiligenberg. Visit to the Thingstätte and the ruins of St Michael's Abbey. Continue past the Teltschikturm to Wilhelmsfeld. Past the Kohlhof to the Ursenbacher Höhe. Then downhill to Strahlenburg Castle near Schriesheim. Through Heidelberg back to St. Ilgen.
