This great hiking route from Laufenburg to Stilli leads along the historic Flösserweg (Raftsmen's Trail). Timber rafting was an important trade in the 19th century. The wood was transported from Stilli to Laufenberg via the Aare and Rhine. The way back was on foot via Rheinsulz, Mettau, Wil, Hottwil, the Rotberg and Villigen to Stilli. The raftsmen always took a break in Hottwil at the "Bären", where rafting beer is still served today. An eventful route through a dreamlike natural landscape.
