Best views trails in Lauf

This route is Stage 4 of the Westweg, a long-distance hiking trail from Pforzheim to Basel, which starts in Unterstmatt and ends at the Alexanderschanze. The trail follows the main ridge of the Northern Black Forest through open Grinden landscapes and climbs past the Ochsenstall mountain inn to the Hornisgrinde plateau. Scenic run to the Hardstein. The circular route starts at Laufbachstraße and leads along the idyllic Laufbach path to Glashütte. There, the ascent up to almost the Hardsteinkopf and finally a short detour to the Hardstein awaits. A marvellous view awaits there before heading downhill to Lochwald and finally to the car park.
