A very pleasant route that leads along the water and up the mountain. The ascent leads through the forest and the descent past the Berghotel Jägerhof, where you can stop for a meal at the Berggasthof Haldenhof. Status 08.2020: The bridge below Haldenhof is currently closed, diversions is signposted, as a hiker you can walk barefoot through the Unteren Argen below the bridge if necessary. A great way to cool off, but you should be sure-footed.
