Best backpacking trails in Gruibingen

This route is stage 2 of the Albtraufgänger, running from the Deutsches Haus near Gruibingen to the Wasserberg. The path climbs the Aichelberg toward the Tempele viewpoint for sweeping views of the Filstal valley and the Three Kaiser Mountains. Continuing past the Boller Heide heathlands, hikers pass through Dürnau, home to the Swabian Sayings Trail and Gralglas Museum, before making a final ascent to the Fuchseck peak.
